'Modern' Australia has the worst record in the world for species extinction. According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, there are more endangered plants and animals in Australia than most of the rest of the world.

Our work is made possible by the financial support of our members and donors. Please join us - your support will help FAME provide the difference between survival and extinction for Australia's most endangered species.
